"Shooting with the Legends" is a series of original videos shot by Scott Teal, the publisher of the highly-rated "Whatever Happened to ...?" magazine and "Shooting with the Legends" books. These sit-down style interviews were shot with professional wrestlers who remember what wrestling was like before the national expansion by Vince McMahon and the WWF/WWE. For 10 years, Southern Championship Wrestling was one of the hottest indy wrestling promotions in the southeast. Born in mid-1994, the promotion was originally started by Jack Cates of Durham, North Carolina. The first official SCW show was held on November 5, 1994 in Durham. SCW was a starting place for many of today's stars, including CW Anderson, The Hardy Boyz, Joey Matthews, Otto Schwanz, and Shannon Moore. | |
